Sooo the third week is coming up (I can't believe that 2 weeks've already passed!). How have you guys been doing so far? I'm doing pretty well, when it comes to eating and loosing weight. I dropped another pound this week, which means I'm getting one of my milestones done so far. My clothes fit much better, so all the milestones seem to work out fine, EXEPT the workout one. I just can't bring myself to move and I really don't know why. I mean 30 minutes is not like 20 hours working out. This time should be always free throughout the day. It's just my lazyness. Well, I do loose pounds and everything, so I can't complain. But exercising is also a key in order to live healthy. And this is what I want. Then why can't I get my butt up and move?! You know what, I'll put in a video now and do my taeBo workout!! It can't go on like that!! See you later, guys and I hope you are all doing great!!! We can do this!!

Did you do the workout? I hope so! It is hard sometimes, but doesn't it feel better when you do the workout? Today I am off work and so I am spending time in my house - I have used my exercise bicycle so far and this afternoon I am going to put in a DVD and do a workout here. I am also taking some relaxing time:) I love days off!!! Patty

I completely know what you mean about the exercise thing. I am having difficulties getting motivated myself. I think it stems from how much I hate "workout" type exercise. I keep telling myself to just get up from my desk and go for a walk, but I just can't seem to motivate myself.

I have been taking LOVELY daily walks with my boyfriend! And the weather in Boston has been really nice lately, so it's been even better. I can't believe it's Week 3 already!

I have started the workouts again this week, but after the busy day yesterday my feels like half dead and not wanting to move :P. So I'm still struggling if I should do something today or not. Maybe I can bring myself up for at least 15 mins tai chi or something. That should relax my body also.

I'm doing pretty good so far. I've kept up the milestone I accomplished the first week (30 minutes strength training two days/week) and am doing really well on my milestone for this week (cooking hot food at least one meal every day). Next week is the most challenging one for me: 30 minutes cardio averaging every day. That's the one I know I need the most and it's the one I am most resistant to.

You can do it Svelte! Just think of how badly you want to be able to say that you achieved that Milestone!

Not yet, but I have saved a couple for trying later (particularly today's spiced apples! That is SO my speed! I'm considering doing that tomorrow night.)!

Mostly what I have been doing is cooking a big batch of rice in my microwave rice cooker/steamer and then doing stuff with it. I went to a party last weekend where the hostess served some wonderful Tuscan White Bean soup (white beans, spinach, carrots, and I think she said cardamom) and gave me the leftovers. So while those last, I am combining them with the rice and it's very filling and delicious for lunch!
